Presentations from Business Software Alliance, Animus Solutions and Miro Consulting. - Who reports companies? Software & Information Industry Alliance (SIIA). 87% - IT staff or managers. 3% - senior management. 3% - outside consultants. 70% are former employees who left due to this unethical behavior. Cases are not concentrated by industry – while 24% involve “IT” and 21% involve manufacturing, no other category rises above 9%. Most cases pursued by SIIA represent relatively larger companies – the average number of staff is over 804 with average annual sales of nearly $90 million.
